Moira Demesne watercolour painted by Philip Armstrong of Paint the Past. Permission to use has been granted by copyright holder Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum.
This is not a historic image per se but a wonderfully researched and illustrated view of how Moira looked in the past. It is a painting by Philip Armstrong “Using the combined expertise of consultants and watercolour art style, I portray a reliable and realistic perspective of long lost monuments and structures dating from the earliest stone age settlements to 20th century buildings.” See his web site for more wonderful illustrations.
